We’re at the Forefront of AI in Saskatchewan

Artificial Intelligence Saskatchewan (AiSK), pronounced “Ask”, is a non-profit organization created to champion the growth of the Artificial Intelligences sector in Saskatchewan.

The field of AI represents an economic growth opportunity for Saskatchewan. AiSK will help the province seize this opportunity by creating a “one-stop shop” for AI in Saskatchewan by bringing together the public, industry, academia and all levels of government to create a thriving AI sector.

AiSK Strategy

AMPLIFY

  • AiSK amplifies the size and scope of the AI sector in Saskatchewan. We will promote the strength of Saskatchewan’s AI sector so that we stand on the world’s AI stage.

 

ATTRACT

  • AiSK promotes Saskatchewan as an emerging hub for AI to help attract talent and investment to the province – futter strengthening the AI sector. We will connect AI talent and AI ideas to AI companies to drive economic growth in Saskatchewan. 

 

CONVENE

  • AiSK convenes stakeholders to support the sharing of AI knowledge. As the SK hub for AI, we will bring together all stakeholders: industry, all levels of government, academia, entrepreneurs, researchers, practitioners and the public to ensure a connected AI sector in SK.

 

COMMUNITY

  • AiSK will help build an AI sector that is open to all, this will increase the speed of AI adoptation in SK. We will do this by providing programming that is free and available to all ensuring everyone who wants to attend our events, can attend.

 

EDUCATE

  • AiSK will support the sharing of information and education on AI through educational seminars and training courses. We will bring “AI literacy” to the province.

 

ENGAGE

  • AiSK will engage youth and the general public in AI so that we help create the next generation of AI experts and encourage training and careers in the AI sector. We will help create the workforce of the AI-future.
